Love Letter to Diego - A Frida Kahlo Inspired Print
The colorful journal that artist Frida Kahlo kept for her final ten years beautifully reveals her private life. Along with 70 captivating watercolor images, this passionate and occasionally unexpected album includes the artist's thoughts, poems, and dreams, many of which mirror the tumultuous relationship she had with her husband, the artist Diego Rivera. What a gift to possess. I will treasure it. Naturally, I was motivated to create another portrait of Frida Kahlo after buying this book. I adore that her letters to Diego are included in the book. Some people are kind, and others are irate. They had such a tense romantic relationship. But in the end, they were truly in love with one another. I thought having her create a "Love Letter" would be wonderful.
