A Moment in Time - Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera Art Print
I've added another piece to my Frida Series. I was motivated by a similar scene in the film "Frida" where they were discussing Frida's paintings while lying in bed. She informed Diego that when he was 12 years old, he could certainly paint like that. In response, Diego said, "He could never paint like that." a heartfelt exchange between Frida and Diego.
It was challenging to face the mirror reflections from the rear, but I like how it turned out. I had a great time getting lost in the design of the extremely difficult pleated shirt.. Although it is my design for a lavishly pleated, fringed Mexican throw, it almost appears like a skirt.
